Talk about hitting the snooze button at the wrong time! These buffaloes were so deep in dreamland that they dozed through rising floodwaters that nearly washed them away!

In this unexpected showdown, a group of cheeky juvenile baboons decided they wanted to play a game of tag with a couple of feisty klipspringers sharing their boulder. The klipspringers, however, were not so keen to partake in the game. 

A belligerent turtle recently approached two lions with relentless courage at a waterhole, even looking one of the lions square in the eyes before chasing it away!

While relocating their pups to a new den site, the unthinkable happens to these wild dogs. As the adults were distracted by pestering hyenas, three male lions appeared out of nowhere, surprising all of them, and leaving the baby wild dogs to fend for themselves.

A pregnant impala faced the unimaginable in an incredible encounter with a hippo, a wild dog, and a hyena. While the hippo stepped in to help the poor impala, the animal eventually succumbed to the ferocious attacks against it, and after being killed, its carcass was stolen by a leopard.
