Suddenly, a lone elephant saunters toward the water, scattering the zebras and thwarting the crocodile’s meal plans. In a last-ditch effort, the croc lunges from the water, aiming to snatch the last fleeing zebra, giving the black-and-white animal a shock. Despite the dramatic attempt, the predator ultimately goes hungry.

The previous night, this leopard successfully hunted in a thick, muddy pool, managing to catch a catfish. Hoping for a repeat, he returned the following day. The majestic cat paws through the mud, searching for another delicious fish when a sudden movement ahead catches his eye. Out pops an enormous hippo, perfectly camouflaged by the mud coating its body. Startled, the leopard quickly retreats, while the hippo resumes wallowing in its territory.
