Watch The Sighting Here:
Katie Taylor filmed this video while she was visiting a Lodge in the Greater Kruger National Park, South Africa.
Seeing Spots
When the video begins, the image initially blurs as Katie walks through the bathroom.

Focus On A Feline
But as the image clears, a surprise awaits. Just outside the floor-to-ceiling windows, stands an adult leopard. As Katie said, “Look at what is at our door!”

Judging by the fullness of its face and relatively thick neck, it appears to be a male.
Eye Contact
As she moves closer, a camera flash goes off. With that, the leopard looks directly at the camera. But, on seeing Katie, it does not react in the slightest.

Now, luxury lodges are known for going above and beyond, but this takes it to a whole new level.
And… of course, this wasn’t part of the lodge’s service. As it happens, this leopard is 100% wild and has wandered into the unfenced camp of its own accord.
Not Fazed
To say that the leopard is unfazed would be an understatement. After barely acknowledging Katie’s presence, the leopard turns its attention to the stonework in the wall.

Cat’s Curiosity Satisfied
Next, after finding nothing of interest and still showing no signs of aggression or agitation, the gorgeous predator turned to leave.

As the cat moves briefly out of view, we hear Katie say that someone called Molly would be so jealous. Wouldn’t we all!
Not To His Taste
Then, we see the leopard again. It is now standing alongside the swimming pool. Dipping its head briefly as if to drink, it decides against it.

Perhaps he prefers his water unchlorinated?

No Harm Done
With that, the leopard continues on its way, with no harm done to man or beast. What a thrilling experience it must have been for them.
