Two tiny lion cubs crossed the Crocodile River one by one to reunite with their waiting mother in a beautiful sighting at South Post at Kruger.
The entire reunion was captured by Ting Vision, which recorded the moment the mother first noticed something across the river and suddenly rushed down from the rocks.

Mom Suddenly Takes Off
The sighting began with two adult lionesses resting high on a rocky ledge overlooking the wide, sandy riverbed.
At first, there was no sign of the cubs.
Then one of the lionesses, the mother, suddenly noticed something in the distance. She stood up, focused across the river and, without much hesitation, hurried down from the rocks towards the water.
Only once she reached one of the sandy islands in the river did it become clear what had caught her attention.
A tiny lion cub was running through the river towards her.
The First Cub Reaches Mom
The cub looked incredibly small against the huge open riverbed as it made its way through the shallow channels.
Its mother stood waiting ahead, having already come down to meet it halfway.
The little cub kept moving through the water until it finally reached her. After the reunion, the lioness guided the youngster back towards the rocky bank, where the second adult lioness was still waiting.
One cub had made it back.
But the family was not complete yet.
Still Waiting for the Second Cub
Back on the rocks, the mother, the second lioness and the first cub all turned their attention towards the far side of the riverbed.
Somewhere across the water was the second cub.
A little while later, it finally appeared.
Just like its sibling had done before it, the second cub began making its way across the wide stretch of sand and shallow water, following the same general route towards the waiting lionesses.
This time, though, its sibling was watching too.
A Cub Races to Greet Its Sibling
As the second cub approached the near side of the river, the first cub spotted it coming.
It immediately bounded down from the rocky ledge and raced across the sand towards the water.
Before the second cub had even fully left the shallows, its sibling was there to greet it.
Their mother followed closely behind, making her way down from the rocks to join both cubs on the sand.
The long wait was finally over.
The Family Groups Up
With both cubs safely on the same side of the river, the family began moving back towards the rocky outcrop.
The mother led the youngsters up the rugged bank to rejoin the second lioness, who had remained nearby throughout the reunion.
Once everyone was together again, the mood seemed to change completely.
The cubs had crossed the open riverbed one at a time and finally made it back to their mother.
Back to Being Cubs
The next day, with the river crossings behind them, the two youngsters quickly returned to playing.
Safe with the lionesses, they began wrestling and tumbling around together in the sunshine.
